Description
Warrant for Walter de Mulesworthe, sheriff of Bedford and Buckingham for monies paid to James of Menteith, Luke son of Donald of Lennox and John of Clunie of Fife, esquires, Scottish prisoners from Dunbar, in the castle of Berkhampstead, from the morrow of St Michael year 27 (20 September 1299), till 1 July year 29 (1301) each at 3d. per day; and from said day till 26 February year 30 (1302), each at 2d. a day, by the king’s writ, and the order of the Treasurer of the Barons of the Exchequer as to the reduction.
