Notes
Morgann son of Donnchad is possibly the same person as Morgann (Morgrund), earl of Mar. He is possibly (along with Gilla Petair) the son of Donnchad son of Síthech, toísech of Clann Morgainn, who appears as a grantor here. One of the sons of Matain may be Gillanders, who appears as Gillanders mac Matain in a charter around this time.
