The feast of St Martin mentioned in the charter is probably his ordination and translation, on 4 July, rather than the more common 'St Martin in Hyeme'. This was the date on which the two kings left Vézelay for Outremer. as <em>Kelso Liber</em>, i, no. 248, by which it is confirmed; confirmation also by <em>Kelso Liber</em>, i, no. 261 c. 1190
