Possession: Land in the territory of ‘Louchogov’ (prob. PEB)

From Source
3/206/6 (Newb. Reg., no. 29)
Firm date
1234
Dating Notes
The disappearance of Thomas of Galloway, earl of Atholl, as Adam son of Edulf’s lord, suggests that this charter was written after his death in 1231. It is likely that the lands passed from Alan of Galloway to Roger de Quincy by his marriage to Helen of Galloway, after Alan’s death in 1234. Roger de Quincy is not yet called constable or earl.
