Possession: Land in Aberdeen (ABD)

From Source
3/630/1 (Arb. Lib., no. 140)
Firm date
1215 X 1249
Dating Notes
The only thing whatsoever to date this charter on is its placement in the printed version of the <em>Arbroath Liber</em> under the ‘Alex. Reg.’ section. There is more evidence for the second half of the thirteenth century in terms of the religious practices of the burgesses of Aberdeen. This may be the land in the Kirkgate leased by Abbot Bernard, 1310×28 (<em>Arb. Lib.</em>, 269).
