Second single-sided seal, used after Malcolm's accession to the earldom in 1204. The seal depicts the earl on horseback to *sinister*, wearing armour a mail hauberk, a surcoat and a flat-topped helmet. He is carrying a sword in his right hand and a shield on his left arm, with no arms visible on the extant impressions of the seal.

SIGILL’ MALCOLMI [C]OMITIS [DE FIF?] (“Seal of Malcolm, earl [of Fife]"). The doubt over the place name is Stevenson and Wood’s; Laing supplies "DE FYFF".
