Single-sided second seal, depicting Alan on horseback to *sinister*, wearing armour, a surcoat and a cap-shaped helmet with a nasal, and carrying a broadsword and a shield bearing arms of, apparently, a *fess* *chequy*. The horse has a *poytrail* decorated with ball-shaped pendants, and a fringed saddle.
