Single-sided seal of Walter Stewart, son of Walter (d.1241), depicting him on horseback to *sinister*, wearing armour, a surcoat and a cap-shaped helmet with nasal; he is carrying a broadsword and a shield bearing arms of a *fess* *chequy*. The horse has a *poytrail* decorated with ball-shaped pendants, and a fringed saddle.
