The earl on horseback to *sinister*, wearing chain armour, a surcoat and a cylindrical flat-topped helmet with lattice work at the front. He holds a sword in his right hand, and a shield in his left, bearing arms: *masculy*.

The earl standing, wearing the same costume though his helmet also has a *wyvern* crest; he holds a sword in his right and and a shield in his left, bearing arms: *masculy*, combating a lion to *dexter*.
