Turgot, bishop of St Andrews (d.1115)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 377: Turgot was prior of Durham when he was consecrated as bishop of St Andrews at York on 1 August 1109. He died at Durham on 31 August 1115. Fasti Ecclesiae Anglicanae 1066-1300, ii, 33: He was a monk of Durham from 1083 and was appointed prior of Durham in 1087. He was archdeacon there from the summer of 1093. He was probably nominated as bishop of St Andrews in 1107, perhaps remaining prior until his consecration in 1109.
