William of Lyne, master (fl.1197-1202)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 356-7: William likely took his surname from Lyne (PEB) and was probably a member of the family who held lands there. He probably joined the familia of Bishop Roger of St Andrews and appears frequently as a witness to his charters. He is not found with certainty after 1201 and does not appear in the familia of Bishop William Malveisin.
