David Hastings, earl of Atholl (d.1247)

Biography
Handbook of British Chronology, 501: Had married before 1242 Forbflaith, 2nd daughter of Patrick, earl of Atholl. Styled earl Aug. 1244, died before 3 July 1247 Successor to Patrick, 2nd earl of Atholl, through the earl’s daughter, the aunt of the murdered Patrick of Atholl. He died whilst on pilgrimage with King Louis IX of France and King Theobald II of Navarre. (Chron. Mel.)
