William de Vieuxpont (II) (d.c.1203)

Biography
William de Vieuxpont was married to Maud de Moreville (d.c.1210), daughter of Hugh de Moreville. His family was from Vieuxpont-en-Auge, Normandy. They had two sons, Ivo, who inherited estates in Northamptonshire and Northumberland, and Robert (d.1228), who married Idonea, daughter of John de Builli. http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/28276 William was lord of Alston, Bolton, Carriden and Langton and died between 20 Aug. 1196 (last attestation of William royal charter, RRS, ii, no. 396) and 11 Oct., prob. 1205 (royal charter to his son, Ivo; RRS, ii, no. 468), poss. × 16 Oct. 1198, when Ivo starts witnessing royal charters (RRS, ii, no. 404) (MHH) likely died shortly before _Kelso Liber_, i, no. 243 Had three sons named William with Emma de St Hilaire (_Holy.Lib._, 41)
