Alexander of North Berwick, master, clerk (fl.1282-1302)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 431: Master Alexander took his name from North Berwick in East Lothian. He was a clerk of Bishop Henry of Galloway, appearing on 8 November 1282. He seems to have also served as clerk of Bishop Thomas of Kirkcudbright, Henry’s successor, appearing on 16 April 1302, though this person is only dominus and may be the same as the chaplain of this name collated in error in 1329.
