Gamel (Gamaliel), bishop of the Isles

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 259: Gamaliel (Gamelinus) was an Englishman who was consecrated bishop of the Isles by Roger, archbishop of York (1154-81), probably in late 1154 and without the knowledge of King Godred of Man, who in November 1154 had made arrangements to have the see moved to the province of Nidaros (Trondheim) in Norway. He died in an unknown year and was buried at Peterborough.
