Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 244: Adam occurs as official of Glasgow 1260×1267 and also 5 June 1262 × 1267. Watt, Graduates, 148: Adam was probably from Dartford, Kent, and arrived in Scotland with John of Cheam, bishop of Glasgow, in 1260. He appears as a canon and rector of Old Roxburgh on 19 April 1266. He was succeeded as official of Glasgow by John de Lenna, in 1267, in which year John of Cheam went abroad. In 13 October 1268, after Cheam's death, he appears as a canon of Glasgow.
