Eustace Balliol, lord of Tours (d.a.1276)

Biography
Eustace was eldest son of Ingram Balliol (d.1239×44), lord of Tours-en-Vimeu. He married Agnes, daughter of William Percy (d.1245), 6th Baron de Percy. They had one son, Ingram, who married Isabelle (surname unknown), and who died without issue in 1299. They might also have had one daughter, who married an Umfraville and produced a son, Ingram de Umfraville, who inherited half of the lands of Ingram Balliol (d.1299) with the other half going to Henry Percy (d.1314). He should not be confused with his cousin of the same name, a younger brother of John (I) Balliol (d.1268), who died in 1274 and married Helewise, daughter of Ranulph of Kirklinton. A.
