Hugh, abbot of Kelso (d.1248)

Biography
Watt and Shead, Heads, 122: Hugh was a monk of Kelso when he succeeded as abbot of Kelso after the first resignation of Herbert Maunsel on 8 September 1236. Maunsel was compelled to resume his position, though he resigned again on or before 8 October 1239, the day that Hugh was elected abbot again. He occurs in office on 24 June 1240 and died in 1248.
