Biography
1. Bartholomew, archdeacon of Amiens Ferguson, Medieval Papal Reps., 124, 301-302: Bartholomew was archdeacon of Amiens, a papal chaplain and appears as an auditor litterarum contradictarum in November 1262. His role as auditor meant that he was employed as a procurator at the papal curia to raise protests against some mandates or privileges which might be injurious to his employer, in this case, the prior and chapter of St Andrews.
