Osbert, bishop of Dunblane (d.1231)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 100: Osbert occurs as bishop of Dunblane in 1227×31, though an unnamed bishop occurs 11 April 1227, having been elected since 12 January 1226. He died as a professed canon of Holyrood abbey in 1231. Watt, Graduates, 435: Osbert was elected bishop by papal mandate of 12 January 1225/6 following the resignation at the curia of the previous bishop, Radulf. He died in 1231-2.
