Nicholas, bishop of the Isles (d.1217)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 259-60: An Argyll man, Nicholas succeeded Michael as bishop, styled as bishop of Sodor, in 1203, though there had probably been no bishop since 1203 until after a papal confirmation of rights in 1206. He was consecrated as 'Koli' (a Scandinavian abbreviation of Nicholas) in 1210 and died in 1217. He was buried at the monastery of Bangor in Ulster. http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/65466/
