Osbert de Merlay, master (fl.1166-67)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 389: Osbert was the son of Ranulf de Merlay, lord of Morpeth, and younger brother of William and Roger, and a benefactor of Newminster Abbey near Morpeth, where he was buried with his father. He occurs as master once when witnessing a charter of Bishop Richard of St Andrews, at Berwick 1166-67.
