Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 168: Gilla-Aldan was elected before 9 December 1128 to the see of Whithorn, at which time a papal mandate was issued for him to go to York for his consecration. He occurs as 'G.' on 16 June 1151, and died before 19 December 1154, when his successor, Christian, was consecrated.
