Jocelin of Ballindard

Biography
Jocelin takes his name from the Balmerino estate of Ballindard or Balnedart, and not Balinhard, later Bonhard, in Angus. There is nothing to connect him to the family from that place which later took the surname of Carnegie. PNF, iv, 155.
