Hugh of Carrick, master, clerk

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 89: Hugh of Carrick appears as Master when witnessing an act of Duncan, earl of Carrick in 1225. He is presumably the same as Master Hugh, the earl's clerk. He was dead by 28 October 1269, and had a son, Niall. He was probably a member of the earl of Carrick's family.
