son of Liulf, son of Eadulf; d. before 1133; he was father of William, Adam (who inherited the office of sheriff of Northumberland from him), John (from whom John Vicecomes II and John Vicecomes III descend), and daughter Gunnilda. sheriff of Bamburgh and of the Northumbrians.
