Biography
resigned earldom to his son, Robert (king of Scots), on 7 November 1292; thereafter he is called 'lord of Annandale'; but sometimes appears with the courtesy 'earl of Carrick' title. He married Marjory, countess of Carrick. Died 29 Mar. x 4 April 1304.
