Michael, bishop of the Isles (d.1203)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 259: Michael was a Manxman and Cistercian monk of Furness when he was expelled from his order in 1194 for accepting consecration as bishop of Man and the Isles while a predecessor was still alive. He was appointed a papal judge-delegate on 24 November 1199, and was buried after his death at the Cistercian abbey of Fountains in Yorkshire in 1203.
