Watt, Graduates, 67: He may have been a son of Robert Bruce (d.1142), and younger brother of Robert Bruce (d.c.1194) He occurs twice without the title of Master to two charters of his supposed brother, 1170x94 and x1184, and occurs as Master in a Scottish context to charters of the same brother to Melrose Abbey, and to Robert's successor, William.
