Description
Robert, king of Scots, notes that Niall of Carrick resigned into his hands by staff and baton the land of Auchtertyre (ANG) which was the late John Comyn of Brethertoun's in the sheriffdom of Forfar and quitclaimed any right he had ther in perpetuity. He has given his beloved and faithful William Oliphant knight for his homage and service the land of Auchtertyre in feu and heritage, for the service of three archers in his army and Scottish service of the aforesaid land with pertinents owed and accustomed.
