Document 1/53/344 (RRS, v, no. 302)

Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given Crossraguel abbey all the churches, lands, renders, and possessions which they have from the donations, concessions and infeftments of Duncan, Níall, and Edward, earls of Carrick and of Lord Robert Bruce, the king's father, and Lady Marjory, the king's mother and of other nobles of his kingdom; holding in pure and perpetual alms, as freely as they had in the time of King Alexander III. He also commands and instructs his justiciars, sheriffs, grieves and their baillies and the baillies of the earldom of Carrick to prevent anyone from acting against this confirmation.
