Description
Robert, king of Scots, has inspected and with competent deliberation truly understood that charter of confirmation that Lord Alexander [III], king of Scotland, his predecessor, made of diverse lands and churches, granges, tofts and renders and liberties given and granted by Lord David [I], late illustrious king of Scotland to Dunfermline abbey, and found it neither cancelled nor erased nor in any way damaged, but signed with the true royal seal with silk cord.
