Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given Colban del Glen and Anabilla his spouse the whole land of Quilt in the sheriffdom of Peebles (PEB); holding by them and their legitimately procreated heirs, or, failing that, the heirs of the said Anabilla, in feu and heritage, for 26s 8d annually on Pentecost and Martinmas by equal portion, and performing the service of one archer in the king's army and one suit of court at the sheriff court of Peebles at the chief pleas after the feast of St Michael the Archangel for all custom, service and exaction.
