Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Duncan Campbell knight for his homage and service the whole land of Benderloch (ARG), with the tenancies of Gilla Coluim Mac Gilla Adomnáin and others, except the lands which Arthur Campbell knight the father has be the king's concession, which land Donald Campbell knight, his father, resigned by staff and baton in the presence of the king and the nobles of his council and the barons of Argyll; in feu and heritage, in free barony, with pit and gallows, sake and soke, toll, team and infangenthef, for the service of one ship of 26 oars, with victuals and men pertaining to it.
