- Description
- Robert, king of Scots, has granted that donation which the late Gerard of Lindsey knight made to Newbattle abbey over the lands that the abbey has in the barony of Crawford and which donation and confirmation David of Lindsey knight, lord of Crawford, saw, touched, read and diligently inspected; holding in pure and perpetual alms and in free barony with pit and gallows, sake and soke, toll and team, and infangenthef, without any suit of court, as the charter of Gerard and the confirmation of David attest, saving his service.
