Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given William Wishart, son and heir of the late John Wishart knight and the late Juette his wife, lady of Prenderleith, for his homage and service, that he may have and hold hereditarily in free barony and warren in perpetuity with pit and gallows, sake and soke, toll and team and infangenthef, the lands of Prenderleith (ROX) which his predecessors held of the earl of Angus by blanch ferme 40s annually; and that he may hold the villa of Prenderleith in free burgh, saving to his burgesses the liberty of wool and hides; rendering annually one florin of Florence or 3s in the name of blanch ferme on the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, which William and his heirs may have without ward and relief in perpetuity.
