Description: Robert, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of King David I to Holyrood abbey and found it neither erased, cancelled, or damaged. (David I charter quoted in full: see Chrs. David I, no. 147; H1/4/74) He approves, ratifies, and confirms the charter. He commands and instructs his justiciars, sheriffs, grieves and their baillies that none should injury the abbot and canons of Holyrood in this.
