David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter made by King Alexander II to Arbroath abbey over the land of Nigg (KCD) and has found them neither erased, cancelled or damaged, quoted in full. [RRS, iii, no. 195; H1/7/202; 3 July 1233 at Forfar].
