Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Ingram of Ardler for his homage and service the land of Baldowrie in the sheriffdom of Forfar that was William Marshal's hereditarily by the gift of his lord father [Robert I] and which land William resigned of his own free will by staff and baton in full parliament held at Scone on 22 September regnal year 13; holding in feu and heritage, making the service of one archer in his army and the suits at his sheriff court of Forfar at the three chief pleas.
