Description
David, king of Scots, notifying that that donation which his beloved relative, John Randolph, earl of Moray, lord of Annandale and Man, made to his beloved and faithful John of Orwell of the lands of Sanquhar, Tulloch, and Drumine (MOR), with custody of their forests, is confirmed by these present letters. If John Randolph dies with no male heir, John of Orwell and his heirs shall hold and possess the lands and custody heritably; rendering to the king and his heirs that which John of Orwell renders to John Randolph according to the tenor of his original charter. The great seal of his chapel is appended.
