Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Gillespie Campbell, son of the late Colin Campbell knight, for his homage and service, all the lands which by just title belonged to the land Dougal Campbell, brother of Gillespie, hereditarily, by reason of Dougal's forfeiture, because Dougal died against the faith and peace of the king; holding by Gillespie and his legitimate male heirs, in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
