Description
David, king of Scots, to Thomas Charteris, knight, his chancellor of Scotland, noting that Adam of Crail, abbot of Scone, showed him that his monastery was burdened with a weight of debts, and that their renders are diminished due to war, he grants them a year's respite from their debts. He instructs and commands him to make letters under the great seal regarding this special concession.
