Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Gilbert of Glassary for his homage and service, the lands of Ederline, 'Cambysenucht', Garvalt, 'duas Carenys', 'Crageneure', 'duas Oywaldys', et 'Calkilkestir' (ARG) which were John son of Ewen's and which came to the king by reason of the forfeiture of John's heirs, acting against the faith and peace of the king, together with the right of the superior lord which the said John had in some lands in Argyll, to be held by Gilbert and his legitimate male heirs of the king and the other chief lords of the lands, in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont to the king and the other chief lords of the lands.
