Description
David, king of Scots, has seen and diligently inspected a charter and donation of John Stewart, son and heir of Lord Walter Stewart knight, late lord of Dalswinton, finding it neither erased nor damaged nor in any way suspect, truly sealed with the seal of the said John. [Charter of John Stewart to William Maitland of the lands of Glenormiston in the sheriffdom of Peebles.] The king ratifies this, saving his service.
