Description
David, king of Scots, to his chamberlain of Scotland and his customars of his great custom of the burgh of Montrose (ANG): because the late Lord Robert, king of Scotland, his father (progenitor), corroborated by his great seal, gave the late Lord Henry Sinclair knight 40 marks sterling by the hand of his chamberlain, which the king has inspected and ratified, he now grants , assigns, and wills the payment of 40 marks to be made to his beloved and faithful William Sinclair, heir of the late Henry, out of his great custom of his burgh of Montrose.
