Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alexander Haliburton, knight, twenty merklands of the land of Drem (ELO) in the constabulary of Haddington in the sheriffdom of Edinburgh, which William More resigned by staff and baton on 12 November in the presence of the magnates of the realm, in amends for the damage done by him to Alexander; holding in feu and heritage, for one pair of gilt spurs at the king's manor of Haddington on the Feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist if requested.
