Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Gillespie Campbell for his homage and service all those lands which belonged to the late Colin Campbell, knight, his father, due to the forfeiture of the late Dougal Campbell his brother and true heir of the said lands, who died against the king's peace and faith; holding by Gillespie and his heirs or assigns of the surname of Campbell in feu and heritage with the the castles built in those lands, and advowsons of churches, as Colin his father held them, for service owed and wont.
