Description
In the year of grace 1246, in the time of sheriff Lord John Hay, these jurors recognised as to the right bounds of Wester Feddal (PER) as the Lord King held it, and gave it to the monks of Lindores, by stated bounds, whose names are these: Patrick Kerr, Simon of Feddal, Gilla Muire son of the said Simon, and Simon Derech, Gilla Brigte, and Gilla Fáeláin son of the said Gilla Brigte, Gilla Crist mac Hatheny, and Gilla Crist mac Muirchertaig, Gilla Ethueny, et Gilla Cosaintín, in the presence of Lord J. Hay, and the said abbot and monks of Lindores, and several men of Lord Joachim, and men of the Lord Bishop of Dunblane, Kessy Mackedny and others, and burgesses of Auchterarder, and men of the Lord Earl of Strathearn, and men of Lord Fergus son of the earl, William de Luvetot, Thomas the clerk, William the clerk, and many others. Seal attached by precept of the Lord Justiciar A[lan] Durward by his letters patent.
