Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful William called ‘Maceoun’ for his homage and service, 10 librates of land which were Ingram Cnout’s and John of Weston’s in the tenement of Mertoun (BWK); in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont in the time of Alexander III.
