Description
David, king of Scots, with the deliberation of his council, has given Melrose abbey the custom on all their wools, either from their own sheep or from ecclesiastical teinds, in free and perpetual alms. He also grants them a two-sided cocket in perpetuity for their wool customs. He commands his chamberlain of Scotland, customars, grieves and their baillies not to take any custom from their wool.
